Monika Kaya
Math teacher and private tutor

I have a long career teaching mathematics at secondary schools and at the upper level of primary schools. I also offer private tutoring and prepare students for entrance exams to secondary schools and grammar schools.

After university I spent 18 years in England. In London I worked for 13 years as a math lecturer at Kingston College, where I specialised in A-Level cohorts. I now teach mathematics at a private secondary school and grammar school.

Teaching mathematics is my passion, which is reflected in my eighteen-year work assessing A-Level mathematics exams for Pearson — the most prestigious British educational organisation. I still work for Pearson today as an external associate (A-Level mathematics).

In Czechia I specialise in preparing students for entrance exams to secondary schools and grammar schools. It brings me genuine joy to watch my students progress, achieve their goals step by step and finally get accepted into their dream school.

What I offer

I offer preparation for the CERMAT entrance exams to secondary schools and grammar schools, and math tutoring for primary and secondary school students. Lessons last 60 minutes and take place in person at my home or online via Ziteboard.

Entrance-exam preparation

Students get a full walk-through and practice of every topic in the CERMAT unified entrance exam. They learn the question types and exercises, how to manage time and nerves, and how to fill in the answer sheet. By the end they know exactly what to expect on exam day.
